The IESG approved publication of FTP Security Extensions as a Proposed Standard, but required a small change that will be made in the next version of the document . The IESG approved publication of MIME Parameter Value and Encoded Word Extensions: Character Sets, Languages, and Continuations as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of The "data" URL scheme as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG approved publication of Selection and Operation of Secondary DNS Servers as a Best Current Practices RFC. Steve to send announcement. 6. The IESG approved publication of Clarifications to the DNS Specification as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 7. The IESG approved publication of IMAP URL Scheme as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 8. The IESG approved formation of the IP Payload Compression Protocol (ippcp) Working Group. 11. The IESG had no problem with the updated charter for Realtime Traffic Flow Measurement (rtfm) WG. 12. The IESG approved formation of the Transaction Internet Protocol (tip) Working Group. 13. The IESG approved formation of the TCP over Satellite (tcpsat) Working Group. 14. The IESG had no problem with the updated charter for Multiparty Multimedia Session Control (mmusic) WG. 15. The IESG approved formation of the IP Over IEEE 1394 (ip1394) Working Group. Jeff Burgan had some minor changes to be made to the WG Description, and will send them to Steve. 16. The IESG approved publication of Integrated Services over IEEE 802.1D/802.1p Networks as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 17. The IESG approved publication of Routing Aspects Of IPv6 Transition as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 18. The IESG approved publication of IMAP4 Multi-Accessed Mailbox Practice as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 19. The IESG approved publication of VENUS - Very Extensive Non-Unicast Service as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 20. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Network Security For Trade Shows as an Informational RFC. Steve to inform RFC Editors. 21. There was a brief discussion about working group email archives. While there is an archive at ftp.ietf.org/ietf-mail-archives, it was noted that this is a service offered (i.e not used by all WGs) it does not eliminate the need for each WG to maintain their own set of archives. 22.
